Bali tourism (Indonesia) introduced in Viet Nam

(TITC) – On 25 October 2016, in Ha Noi, the Indonesian Embassy in Viet Nam held a workshop with the theme “Denpasar-Bali Tourism Gathering” to promote Bali tourism.

In attendance were Mr. Ibnu Hadi – Indonesian Ambassador to Viet Nam; representatives of Denpasar Government Tourism Office, Indonesian and Vietnamese tour operators.

The workshop aimed at promoting Bali tourism and also provided the opportunity for the participants to exchange information, boost cooperation and exchange of tourists between Indonesia and Viet Nam.

In his speech, Mr. Ibnu Hadi emphasized the importance of direct flights between the two countries to travel facilitation. The expansion of direct flights is expected to help increase the number of tourists from Viet Nam to Indonesia and vice versa. Every year, Indonesia welcomes about 50 thousand Vietnamese tourist arrivals and more than 60 thousand Indonesian people travel to Viet Nam.  

He informed that the Indonesian Embassy in Viet Nam will work with Vietnam Airlines and Indonesian airlines to foster the expansion of direct flights between the two countries, especially direct flights from Ha Noi to Jakarta and Bali. The Embassy will also coordinate with Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism and Vietnam Airlines to organize famtrips between the two countries.
