Four Vietnamese hotels namely Azerai La Residence Hue, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi and InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 have been honoured with the Readers' Choice Awards 2020 in the "Top 20 Hotels in Asia" category.
Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi ranks the 11th place in the list
The list sees Azerai La Residence Hue rank ninth, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi in 11th place, JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi placed at 13th, and InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 at 15th, respectively.
Over 715,000 readers worldwide participated in the contest, with global voting launched by the Conde Nast Traveler magazine through its website and via the November edition of Condé Nast Traveler publications which were published in both the United States and the UK.
The list marks the second consecutive time that Azerai La Residence Hue has made it into the top ten list, while Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi has also been named in the list seven times since 2011.
Phan Trong Minh, general director of Azerai La Residence Hue, expressed his honour that the hotel has been voted among the leading 20 hotels in Asia, adding that the establishment has been the recipient of several major international awards in recent years, including the World's 100 Greatest Places for 2019.
This comes after Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi had been awarded a five-star rating earlier in the year, the top level of recognition, from the Forbes Travel Guide in the independent ratings agency’s assessment of luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas nationwide.
