Low-cost airline VietJet receives the “Most Valued Airline of the Year in Asia 2022” prize at the World Business Outlook Awards.

The awards saw VietJet Air, FPT, Vietcombank, and Viettel become the only Vietnamese enterprises named in this year’s awards among various other international brands.

The airline was also honoured as the “Best Low-cost Airline in Vietnam” at the annual World Airline Awards 2022 held by Skytrax, the world’s leading international air transport rating organisation.

Nguyen Thanh Son, vice president of VietJet Air, noted that the three prizes serve as acknowledgement of their continuous perseverance to maintain reliable flight operations with the highest customer satisfaction rate achieved through pioneering solutions and services.

According to the executive, with 150 million passengers transported nationwide and internationally, the airline has continuously applied leading technology and strived to optimise the flight experiences of customers, while simultaneously expanding flight networks domestically and globally.

The World Airline Awards were originally launched in 1999 by Skytrax and are widely considered to be the Oscars of the aviation industry.

Meanwhile, the Singapore-based World Business Outlook (WBO) is a print and online magazine which provides comprehensive coverage and analysis for the financial industry, international businesses, and the global economy as a whole.
