India’s famtrip delegation explores Ninh Thuan’s tourism potential
Update: May 09, 2023
The south-central province of Ninh Thuan and the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City on May met an Indian famtrip delegation to discuss tourism cooperation opportunities within the locality.

The Indian famtrip delegation is impressed by the traditional weaving of the Cham people in Ninh Thuan.

At the event, Indian tourism businesses highlighted the tourism potential that exists for Ninh Thuan province, especially cultural activities of the Cham community, which they said are similar to Indian culture.

They said they plan to ramp up coordination to improve the overall quality of various tourism types in Ninh Thuan.

According to the Ninh Thuan administration, cooperation between the province and India has yielded encouraging results over the years. Ninh Thuan has received seven projects in official development assistance (ODA) from the Indian Government, with a total value of US$2.1 million.

Furthermore, the locality has deployed a number of activities aimed at connecting the Indian tourism market to southcentral provinces, including Ninh Thuan itself.

Most notably, the province located in the southeast key economic region features beautiful bays and beaches stretching for more than 100km of coastline, as well as two national parks.

The locality has increasingly become a potential destination for Indian investors and tourism businesses seeking investment opportunities and organising tours to explore tourist attractions there.
