Cruise liner Hanseatic brings foreigners to Viet Nam
Update: Apr 24, 2014
The Hapag-Lloyd-operated ship Hanseatic, with 750 foreign passengers and crew members on board, docked at Phu Quoc island on April 23.

During the Viet Nam tour, organised by Saigontourist, visitors, mostly Germans, left the ship, explored the island, and went shopping.

This is the first time Hanseatic has travelled to Phu Quoc this year.

The cruiser is scheduled to return to Vietnam again from April 29-May 3 for another Ha Long-Hue-Ho Chi Minh City tour.

Saigontourist has welcomed more than 80 international luxury cruise ships carrying thousands of tourists and crew to Viet Nam in the first four months of this year.

They mainly came from Italy, France, Portugal, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, the US, Canada, and Australia.
