Ha Long to welcome 21 five-star Superstar Cruise ships

Ha Long city will receive 21 five-star Superstar Virgo cruise ships between May and October 2014, according to the Quang Ninh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The five-star cruise ships of the Star Cruises firm often carry tourists on Tuesdays and Fridays. The ships will arrive at Ha Long city three times a month and dock at the city for one day.

Five-star Superstar Virgo tours around the world and takes tourists from Singapore, Europe, the US, China and Hong Kong (China) to Ha Long with 500-1,500 tourists travelling on each ship.

In recent years, Ha Long has been a popular destination for famous international cruise ships.

From January to April 2014, Ha Long received more than 80 foreign cruise ships carrying thousands of visitors.
