The People’s Committee of the central province of Quang Tri has announced a project to open the Con Co island tourism route.
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has accepted an initiative by the People’s Committee of the central province of Quang Tri on opening tourist routes to its Con Co Island District.
Near shore coral reefs are one of the three tourism “specialties” of Con Co Island District in Quang Tri Province, attracting a large number of travelers. This interesting feature of this beautiful and pristine island makes it advisable for a visitor to the island to enjoy diving with a local guide in the early morning.
The Quang Tri provincial People’s Committee has allowed the Con Co island district People’s Committee to associate with Quang Tri Trade Corporation to open the first tour to the island.
Seventeen miles off Cua Tung beach, central Quang Tri province, lies Con Co Island, which is set to become a national tourist hotspot and a driving force of economic growth in the province, according to Nguyen Lanh, Chairman of the Con Co Island District People’s Committee.
