DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi ( D)
Upon arrival in Hanoi, Dream Travel’s guide welcome you at the airport then escort to your hotel in Hanoi. Free and have rest until have welcome dinner at the restaurant. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hanoi
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue on to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology, Hoan Kiem lake, Ngoc Son temple and enjoy riding in a rickshaw for 1 hour in the old quater of Hanoi and its teeming streets filled with fascinating shops. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay ( B/L/D )
08h00: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong City through the paddy fields in the Red River Delta.
10h00: Stop over on the way for a refreshment break
12h00-12h30: Arrive at Tuan Chau wharf – Break and photography time
12h30-13h00: Board Cruise for departure. Welcome drink will be served
13h00: Lunch is served while cruising through the bay
15h30: Visit exciting Ba Hang fishing village, the village is free from busy roads and streets, electric lights, houses and high rise buildings. Instead, there are only herds of little boats and rafts. You will have the chance to discover the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen. Enjoy kayaking, swimming, relaxing on the cruise (if the weather permits).
16h30-17h00: Return to the boat and join cooking class by Chef.
19h00: Dinner is served.
21h00: Evening activities include: Leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar. Relaxing and spending a romantic night on Glory Cruise’s music . Playing cards are available. Passengers may also try their luck at squid fishing from the boat.
21h00-23h00: Happy Hour! Buy one drink – get one free (wine by the bottle excluded). End of Program for Day One.
Day 4: Halong – Hanoi (Brunch)
06h30: Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room
7h00: Enjoy Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes).
08h15: Transfer by tender to the Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat. Proper shoes are highly recommended
09h00: Back to the cruise by tender, then check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay
09h15: Buffet brunch (breakfast/lunch) while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier. We will settle bills after breakfast. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier
11h30-11h45: Transfer by tender to the pier. Time to say goodbye to the crew.
12h00-12h30: Return from Halong to Hanoi by shuttle bus.
14h00: Stop over in Dong Trieu town to visit a ceramics workshop.
16h00-16h30: Arrive in Hanoi. Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Hue. Pick up and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hue.
Day 5: Hue city tour ( B/L/_ )
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945, and the ruins of the Purple Forbidden City. Take a cruise on the Perfume River to visit royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Thien Mu pagoda and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a setting of gardens and lakes. Evening, enjoy the night boat trip on the Perfume river and the Hue folk songs. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hue.
Day 6: Hue - Danang- Hoi An ( B/L/_)
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, head towards Hoi An (about 4 hours). Drive along Lang Co beach and through Hai Van Pass to Danang city. Continue to Hoi An, which was originally a Cham seaport influenced down the centuries by traders from various cultures. On the way, stop at the Marble Mountains. The charm of Hoi An makes it one of the most delightful places to visit in Vietnam.
Afternoon, there is plenty to see in this delightful town, some of the attractions are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tam Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An My Son holy land (B/L)
After having breakfast at hotel. We continue our trip towards My Son holy land. Located just 60 km from Danang, My Son includes a complex of impressive temples and sanctuaries of the former capital of the Cham's Kingdom. This area used to be a glorious empire between the 5th and the 13th century. Today, most of the temples are nothing more than a mysterious impression of what the bright period of the Indian culture of the Cham people could have been. In the afternoon we will take the boat to cruise over the Thu Bon River to visit the Ceramic and Carpenter Village. During the cruise you will be overwhelmed by tranquility and authenticity of local life. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An - Danang – Ho Chi Minh city ( B )
Breakfast at the hotel. Free at your leisure until transfer to Danang airport for boarding flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, picked up and transfered to hotel for check in and relax.
In the afternoon, take a half day to Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments to the Vietnam War. Beneath the ground lie 200 km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflict. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was base to almost 10, 000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the war was. Return to Saigon in late afternoon. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 9: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B/L)
8:00 Pick up at hotel. Transfer to My Tho. Take the motorized boat through the Bao Dinh natural canal; view the stilt house and the fruit plantation along the canal sides. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise Island. Lunch is served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy the nice boat ride through the Tan Tach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruise under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit the family business where you can experience the agricultural lifestyle. Trekking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son island, enjoy the rowing boat ride on the creeks before returning to My Tho by rowing boat. Proceed to Can Tho. Check in on arrival. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Can Tho City.
Day 10: Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)
08: 00 After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market with the busy sense right at the time. Keep cruising through the small channels system, visit the rice noodles making village. Experience the “monkey Bridge “in the Delta. Visit the second floating market of Cai Rang. Break time for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Stop for visit and rest at the Bonsai garden in My Tho. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Saigon.
Day 11: Ho Chi Minh – Siemriep (B)
Pick up at your hotel then transfer to airport for flight to Siemriep. Arrive Siemriep Airport. Welcome by our guide and driver, transfer to your hotel. (Take some optional tours recommended by our guide if time permitted). Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12: Siemriep ( B/L)
After breakfast, visit Angkor Thom South Gate, Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant terrace, Basei Chamkrong, Leper King terrace, Royal Enclosure, etc. Return to Siem Reap for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, then comtemplate the glorious sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng hill. Have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Siemriep.
Day 13: Siem Reap (B/L)
After breakfast, visit the Phimean Akas, Neak Pean, Eastern Mebon, Pre Rup and Phreah Khan. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Prasat Kravan Temple, Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang, Takeo and Ta Prohm. Have dinner at a local restaurant and enjoy traditional Cambodian dance. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Siemriep.
Day 14: Siem Reap - Departure (B)
Breakfast at the hotel, free at your leisure until transfer to Siem Reap international airport for your departure. End of service.
