Tender Canadian beef as well as a variety of delicious Canadian seafood and robust wines, and also Canada’s famous “ice wine†will be served at the Festival of Canadian Flavours which will be held at the Sofitel Plaza Hanoi Hotel from November 7-14, 2008.
This culinary, which is in the framework of the celebration of the diplomatic relations between Canada and Vietnam, is to offer a taste of Canada to Hanoi. The festival has the participation of Canadian chef Derek Furlani who is coming to Vietnam from his speciality restaurant in Hong Kong as the guest chef for this Festival.â€
During this event, food and wine lovers will be able to enjoy the rich flavours and textures that make up the dynamic Canadian culinary landscape. Epicures will be able to revel in award winning Ice Wine from Canada, considered the finest iconic dessert wine of the world.

The Brasserie Restaurant of the Sofitel Plaza, the hotel's busiest eatery, will carry the exciting Canadian menu from November 7-14, 2008.
The event is jointly organised by the Embassy of Canada and the Sofitel Plaza Hanoi Hotel.
