VNAT organizes Viet Nam tourism roadshow in Southeast Asia

(TITC) – From 25 to 29 September, deleagation of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), led by Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu, organized a series of roadshows to promote Viet Nam tourism in Indonesia (25th), Malaysia (27th), and Thailand (29th).

At the roadshows, VNAT delegation introduced Viet Nam tourism potential with special products: marine tourism, ecotourism, cultural tourism, city tours, and famous tourism destinations such as Sapa Town, Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, Central sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long – Ha Noi, Ha Long Bay,  Trang An Landscape Complex,  Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park,  Complex of Hue Monuments, Da Nang City, Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sancturay, Nha Trang City, Mui Ne Beach, Ho Chi Minh City, Mekong River Delta, Vung Tau City, Phu Quoc Island…

Besides, the delegates attending the event had a chance to enjoy Vietnamese art performances and cuisine.

The roadshows were also an opportunity for tourism companies of Viet Nam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand to share information, seek cooperation and promote bilateral visitors exchange.

According to statistics, in the first nine months of 2017, there were more than 60 thousand Indonesian visitors (increasing 18.5% over the same period 2016), 211 thousand Thailand visitors (+ 11.5%), and 334 thousand Malaysian visitors (+16.3%) to Viet Nam.
