Photography exhibition marks Laos’ National Day

A photography exhibition was held in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak on December 1 to mark the 34th anniversary of Laos’ National Day (December 2, 1975-2009).

The exhibition, entitled “Vietnam-Laos, Special Friendship and Comprehensive Cooperation”, showcases 150 photos that highlight the close ties between the both Parties, Governments and peoples, which were originally fostered by the late President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane. The exhibition will run until December 7.

On the occasion, the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association in Dak Lak Province held a meeting for 350 of its members who had worked in Laos during the French occupation and the US war, as well as those who had taken part in Laos’ programme of national construction.
