The collection, including a substantial number of documents related to Thang Long-Hanoi’s traditional and modern music, will be released for the first time.

In the collection, there are is a large amount of information and valuable documents associated with the traditional and royal music under the dynasties of Ly, Tran, Le and Nguyen.

In addition, new musical heritages, including chamber symphony and renovated traditional music are also introduced in the collection.

The collection’s five volumes, “Court music and ceremonial songs through the Han script and Vietnamese language documents”, “Traditional Music”, “Renovated Traditional Music”, and “New Music and Comments on Music”, were compiled by various art and literature experts and researchers, in order to honor creators of Thang Long-Hanoi’s music.
