Travel agencies are offering a series of promotional programs on domestic tours packages to meet the travel demand during the upcoming Vietnam National Day holiday (September 2).
Due to the upcoming three-day holiday, the short one-day domestic tours, such as tours to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Central Provinces, Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh and Lao Cai provinces are in high demand, according to travel agencies.
Vietravel has discounted its price for these tours by 30% to 45%, compared to regular prices. Vietravel is also is expected to book around 7,000 -14,000 visitors on its tours over the holiday.
Sai Gon Travel Service Company (Saigontourist) has recently launched seven new river tour packages that will take tourists around Ho Chi Minh City via canals and rivers.
Additionally, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and Vietnam's low cost airline, VietJetAir are also launching promotion programmes to provide more options for travelling by air.
