Mexican newspaper hails Ha Long Bay’s beauty

Mexican daily El Financiero recently ran an article describing Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay, as an ideal destination for visitors to enjoy peaceful sailing and admire beautiful karst scenery and emerald waters.

Writer Antonio Benitez Garcia provided a brief overview of the bay and recommended the top places to visit during a trip to the bay, such as Sung Sot, Dau Go and Hon Trong, Hon Mai caves. He affirmed Ha Long is rapidly becoming a favourite destination of tourists to Asia.

Ha Long Bay was recognized as a World Natural Heritage site in 1994 by UNESCO, and voted as one of the seven new Natural Wonders of the World in 2011.

The article also highlighted the diverse range of tourist services and packages on offer to the bay, as well as the traditional Vietnamese cuisine and the excellent hospitality found in this region.

It praised the Vietnamese Government’s efforts to develop environmentally friendly tourism expressing its support for policy changes to enable future sustainable tourism in Ha Long Bay.
