Vietnam Year in France includes 100 activities

The Vietnam Year in France program, organized by Vietnam and France, has just opened to promote the country, people and tourism of Vietnam to the world.

The program includes large, prominent and widespread activities such as Vietnamese spring in Touraine on April 14; work exhibition of the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts at the Vietnam Cultural Centre in France (CCV) in May in Paris; photo exhibition about Vietnam's 54 ethnic minorities by photographer Sébastien Laval at Orangerie du Sénat in May and June; painting exhibition of five Vietnamese painters at CCV; exhibition about Vietnamese women’s images through Vietnam’s posters at Quai Branly Museum, Paris in June; workshop on Vietnam’s art and archaeology, a new way of looking at Guimet Museum, Paris in mid-June; special textile festival from June to November in Clermont - Ferrand; rice season dancing tour in Paris, Marseille; Lyon , Bordeaux and Avignon in May and June; symposium at the French National Library and the library at the University of Language and Civilization in Paris; exhibition on Vietnam’s heritage photo at CCV in September; and Dragon fly exhibition: Vietnamese imperial art from September 15, 2014 to January 2015 at Guimet Museum in Paris.

In addition, there are many Vietnamese film weeks, performances of circus, water puppet, “ca tru” (Ceremonial song), modern dance, traditional martial arts, hip hop and techno by Vietnamese artists, as well as introductions to Vietnamese cuisine in Seine Saint Denis, Tours, Bordeaux and many other localities.
