(TITC) - The International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City 2014 (ITE HCMC 2014) will take place from 11-13 Sept. at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center under the theme “5 countries, 1 destination”.
This annual event is co-organized by HCMC Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism and relevant units.
The ITE HCMC 2014 will introduce the message “5 countries, 1 destination” including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam (CLMTV), which aims to utilize the tourism potentials and advantages and strengthen the cooperation on tourism development in the Greater Mekong Subregion. The event is expected to attract more than 9,000 Public and over 8,000 Trade Visitorship.
There will be 21 provinces and cities of Viet Nam taking part in this event to introduce their potentials and unique tourist products to domestic and foreign buyers.
This is considered a platform for Viet Nam and Asia-Pacific countries to introduce their destinations and tourist products as well as for Vietnamese tourism businesses, especially small and medium ones, to seek business cooperation with international partners.
Within the framework of the ITE HCMC 2014, there will be seminar on “5 countries, 1destination” for buyers and international press; seminar on Destination Introduction for CLMTV buyers, award ceremony for outstanding tourism enterprises of the five countries (5CODE), art performances, and many attractive programs for tourism consumers such as big discounts on tours, air tickets...
