Update: Sep 07, 2009
Visiting Hoi An ancient city, tourists can get lost in a city that shimmers with thousands of colorful lanterns along streets studded with old pagodas, temples and restaurants serving traditional Vietnamese dishes. The best option is a cruise down the Thu Bon River to contemplate the splendid scenery while enjoying local specialties.

Hoi An City-based Le Nguyen Company has invested VND1 billion to build a cruiser named Huong Que. The cruiser is dressed luxuriously and has a capacity of 25 to 40 passengers. Cruises depart at 8 a.m. from the center of the city to Cua Dai Sea, take about 90 minutes.

The package price is VND60,000 per person. Sunset cruises can be chartered at US$25 per person.

The company also offers a Vietnamese cooking program where tourists are taken to the market for materials and then back to ship to prepare the food. Enjoying what you made and the poetic scenery of the ancient city is an interesting excursion. To book the tour, contact
