Vietnam's low-cost carrier, VietJet Air, has announced a special promotion for domestic flights on its newly-launched HCM City-Haiphong route, with a one-way ticket costing just VND19,000 (less than US$1).
More than 3,000 discounted tickets will be sold between 21:00 to 24:00 on August 22 for flights between October 1 and December 31, 2012.
Passengers can book tickets online at the VietJetAir website http://www.vietjetair.com, or at VietJetAir offices nationwide.
Flights from HCM City will depart at 9:50am and arrive in Haiphong at 11:45am, while those leaving from Haiphong will take off at 12:20.
VietJetAir plans to develop its Airbus A320 fleet to serve both domestic and international flights. It will also increase the frequency of its flights and connect to more airports in Vietnam and abroad.
