Chuong Beach completes a wonderful trip
Update: Jun 24, 2013
In an afternoon filled with sunlight and wind on a peaceful island, riding on the windy roads by the sea was a thrilling moment on Binh Ba Island, ten miles off Cam Ranh City. And the stunning Chuong Beach topped off a breathtaking day.

We were like excited kids reveling in taking in fascinating beaches, smooth sandy beaches and world of giant rocks and limestone mountains. Some dogs scuttling around shrimp breeding areas also added to the picture.

Fishing boats painted blue anchoring on wharfs added more peace for the setting and of course the clear blue sky and sea. Meanwhile noise from motorbikes riding around small alleys added a modern touch but then the island has schools, medical centers, people’s committee and traditional small markets.

And of course it has tourists strolling around the island for relaxation and sight-seeing proving that it has attractions and charms to bring the island alive.

After riding along winding roads to take a glimpse of the island, fishing piers, daily life and rustic images as well as fantastic scenery, we stopped by Chuong Beach after 15 minutes of riding from the wharf.

The beach was so primitive and ideal for anyone who desires to admire coral reefs and indulge in the marine world.

There are two boat routes to the island from Ba Ngoi Port in Cam Ranh City at 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. and only one route back to the city at 4 p.m. There are no hotels or restaurants on the island but tourists can ask locals for homestay and seafood dining services.
